Charito began taking piano lessons at the age of 7, which became a gateway to learning other instruments such as the violin, mallet percussions, and guitar. She also experiments with digital instruments like midi keys and music production controllers (MPCs). Her piano skills also helped refine her tonal ability, developing her into a virtuosic solo jazz/soul/R&B vocalist. Charito is a graduate from the University of California at Davis, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a Minor in Music and supported her degrees by teaching in classrooms and running music programs at Pre-K, Elementary Schools around the Bay Area.

Currently, she is a dedicated music and performance educator to students of all ages as well as a dedicated performance/recording artist in Neo-Soul/R&B/Electronic Music. She performs often with many gifted musicians at various music venues in the Bay Area. Her current projects are mainly with her music partner, Rowena & FUNKCH3N Conlu, a gifted classical guitarist with whom she has written many Original musical/lyrical compositions. She is constantly immersing herself in different pools of musicians, communities and genres.
