Jenika Fernando

Jenika Mae Fernando is a triple threat with an excellent track in singing, dancing and acting for the last 12 years, and had been teaching private students for the last 3 years.  Jenika holds a wealth of performance experiences which can greatly help new upcoming young performers.  She is young and filled with new ideas, which will help connect with younger students.  Currently in the Performing Arts department of Archbishop Mitty, Jenika is able to train students to get stronger in their vocal technique and stage performance.   She recently attended Broadway Evolved  as a scholar in Manhattan, New York to study with Betsey Wolfe and other Broadway stars/working performers.  Jenika was also a performer in Children's Music Theater San Jose for about 10 years. She was most recently an instructor at CMT's summer camp at Noddin Elementary in San Jose.  She is currently a member of Jazz Choir and the lead singer for the rock/pop liturgical team, Exodus, at Mitty.  Jenika will be pursuing a degree in Musical Theater and Business and will be working on her intensive auditions this coming year, which gives her a wealth of experience and resources to share with her students.
