The Full Story

Vince Feliciano

Vince graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Philosophy, and Asian American Studies with a Minor in Educational Studies. Vince’s musical journey began when he started learning classical piano at the age of 5, and was himself a student at PnC when he was in middle school. Since then, his musical skills have branched out to include guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, cajon, recorder, kalimba synthesizer, sound design, and sound mixing.

 

Prior to teaching at PnC, Vince has taught for music programs that focus on providing free and accessible lessons, including fully-remote nonprofit QuaranTunes and Santa Barbara-based Jasmine’s Alternative Music School. Outside of music, Vince has taught Language Arts and Socio-Emotional Learning in a traditional classroom setting to TK-4 elementary school students.

 

Vince’s main instruments are electric bass and piano/keyboard, and has played in projects ranging from heavy metal to funk. He currently plays for San Jose-based bands like R&B/soul group The Sound Project and pop cover band Incognito Mode. He has also recorded for Arizona-based indie psych project Mikey Flors and the Enjoyers. As part of these groups, he has played at venues like Santana Row and Los Altos First Fridays, performed at events like San Jose's Nikkei Matsuri festival and San Francisco's North Beach Festival, and opened for acts such as Taiwanese punk band Fire EX.
